Can't see the woods for the trees

I wanted to add some woods to my 54mm terrain collection.

I hit on a rough idea and sounded out one of my friends (James Holloway - who paints some of my WW2 figures - I would recommend him if you need any figures painted!) in terms of his modelling capability to meet my crazy idea.

The premise was for a collapsable set of woods that looked effective once erected in the field!

James followed my design and came up with the below. I made the supports slightly more sturdy and the added some more trees.

Here is the removable top - all the trees lift off too!

I will field them in my next AWI campaign game (the third in the series!).
